Rental terms & conditions
Everything you need to know before renting a vehicle with Rentalis Car.
1. Eligibility requirements
- —Minimum age: 21 years (25 years for luxury vehicles and premium SUVs).
- —Valid driving licence held for at least 2 years.
- —International driving permit required for non-residents in Morocco.
- —Valid national ID card or passport.
2. Deposit and payment
- —A deposit is taken by credit card imprint at vehicle handover.
- —Deposit amount: 2,000 MAD to 10,000 MAD depending on the vehicle.
- —Accepted payment: bank card (Visa, Mastercard), bank transfer, cash.
- —The deposit is returned within 7 business days after vehicle return.
3. Mileage
- —Unlimited mileage included in all our short and long-term offers.
- —No additional mileage charges apply.
4. Fuel
- —The vehicle is handed over with a full tank and must be returned full.
- —If returned without a full tank, the missing fuel will be charged at market price + 100 MAD service fee.
5. Cancellation
- —Free cancellation up to 48h before pick-up.
- —Cancellation between 24h and 48h: 50% of the booking amount.
- —Cancellation less than 24h before or no-show: 100% of the amount.
6. Vehicle use
- —The vehicle is reserved for lawful personal or professional use.
- —Driving on unpaved tracks must be pre-authorised.
- —Taking the vehicle out of Morocco requires prior written agreement.
- —Smoking is strictly prohibited in all our vehicles (penalty: 500 MAD).
7. Liability in case of accident
- —In case of accident, the renter must notify Rentalis Car within 24h.
- —An amicable report must be completed and sent to our team.
- —The applicable excess depends on the insurance option chosen (see Insurance page).
